On the left, the final court of Their Majesties King Alaric I and Queen Kayleigh I is underway. Moving clockwise beginning at far left, those facing us are: Lord Anton, Sir Romanius, Ld Durmont, HL Genevieve de Courtanvaux, Ritter Dietrich, HL Sabina, Don Brendan, Mistress Muriel, Duchess Larissa, Ld Virgil and Ld Stephen Hawkins. At right, King Alaric calls for any final entrants for the Bardic challenge of expanding the library of Ansteorran anthems, issued by His Majesty early in his reign.
On the left, Doņa Queen Kayleigh has called forth Her Queen's guard to give heartfelt thanks for their love and support throughout Her reign. On the right, the Queen gives half of her own White Scarf to Don Aeron Harper, captain of her guard, for his exceptional service during this 1st reign.
At
left, the Queen charges His Excellency, Don Llywelyn with protecting the Queen's
Blade of Honor during the in regnum. Don Brendon, the Queen's Champion is witness
and received the other half of the Queen's White Scarf when the Don's &
Doņas were released from fealty. Both Don Llywelyn and Don Brendon were requested
to serve the Queen's heir, Princess Allyson until her own champions are found.
At right, King Alaric removes Kayleigh's crown, bringing to a close her first
reign.
At left, with the Chivalry present in the final moments of His reign, King Alaric reminisces about his reign and seeks amends for a few failures upon his part as King. One involved a matter of marshallate authority and the other regarding attention spent on the court barony of Bordermarch. This was followed by Sir Romanius, as court herald, detailing a long list of successes of His King, not least of which was the extraordinarily resounding tie at Gulf War. At right, although the image is dark, I think you can still make out the catharsis at the end of this reign. Vivat! Earl Alaric and Countess Kayleigh!
