tqc0007-01.jpg 3.8Ktqc0007-02.jpg 3.7K At left, Baron Don Ericus the Silverhand formally takes Lord Thomas de Latham as cadet, both of whom hail from the Barony Bordermarch. At right, His Excellency Don Llywelyn draws the Queen's Blade of Honor as he reminds those present that another shall be chosen to wield it before the day is through.

tqc0007-04.jpg 3.8Ktqc0007-06.jpg 4.1K At left, Lord Erazmus and Lady Magdelana listen closely to Her Majesty's words, before the tournament begins. At right, this cadet receives a favor from the Queen.

tqc0007-08.jpg 4.4Ktqc0007-10.jpg 4.6K Filling the role of Minister of Children for the event, Duke Jean Richard assembles an impressive array of troops and with quick instruction, executes a flawless parade and presentation for Their Majesties. A shining example of the fun to be had when we share a little time and give our rising stars a memorable event as well. (and yes, dear, "Fathers are parents too.")

tqc0007-12.jpg 4.2Ktqc0007-15.jpg 4.2KOn the left, Cadet Edward Mercer and Lord Avery Shaw face off as Lady Ehlen Kirkinopkf (sp) of  Bordermarch (in brown/tan) looks on. Also looking on, on the right is Mistress Stella and in the center, there's Lord David de la Roke, who appears to have some rather large green footwear, oh sorry, those are banners in front of him. What a relief to realize his feet are not that large On the right, Don Modius and Don Miguel begin a long bout while Ingve and Don Christoforo marshaled. On the left, looking on is Lady Nicolette & Count Gunthar.

tqc0007-17.jpg 4.2Ktqc0007-20.jpg 4.3K At left, Don Valentyne continues his advance to the finals by defeating Tivar. At right, His Excellency of Bjornsborg, Sir Emrys, holds everyone's undivided attention with some controversial ideas about our universe. Displaying the spirit of a true peer, leading by example and sacrificing his time to help with Ansteorra's future and most precious resource, His Excellency imparts a lesson not only for these children, but for us all.

tqc0007-21.jpg 4.4Ktqc0007-24.jpg 4.4K At left, the final two, Don Valentyne Drake and Lord Edward Mercer give their salutes to the Crown. At right, they express their regrets to each other's lady, before attempting to dispatch her consort on the field of honor.
