At left, the forces of Edward Longshanks
and Sir Douglas the Good prepare for the first melee. On the right the Scottish are
gathering to be led by William Wallace.
At left, we see William Wallace (aka Airaklee Wolf). At right, Edward I, Edward II (the
'Fop') and Sir Douglas the Good negotiate with William Wallace before the first melee.
At left, the first melee is underway. Armand (florentine) is about to die as Corbin
maneuvers behind him to quell his opponent. On the right we see Sir Douglas (played by Sir
Galen - in white on the left) along with Corbin engage the flanking Scots. In the middle,
with long blonde hair coming out of his helm is Lord Danulf Grindstaff and in front of him
in the green helm is Lord Owen Ap Aeddan, who both hail from the Lion-Dragon Guard of
Mooneschadowe. (My thanks to Jean Paul, Seconde, Lion-Dragon Guard for the description of
these two Scots!)
At left Baron Llywelyn relaxes after the melees. On our right, Lady Allesandre offers a
toast in the baronial pavilion.
At left is a shot of Scian 'Red'. At right, Lady Azalais is receiving counsel from
her camera shy Knight, Sir Axel (Or is she just looking at the hunk on the left.)
At left is a shot of Brighid and Lord
Crandall after an excellent day of marshalling. On the right we see Siobhan being warmed
by Daniel.
At left is a shot of my lady, Ameline
and Alex and Austin. At right, Sir Axel instructs Vivaine, one of his squires. (Is that
instruction in Court Dancing?)
On the left, we see Lord Timothy working,
on a new bardic piece perhaps? At right, we see the King's Archer, Lord Ferghus MacKenna
who received his Sable Falcon at court. Next to him is Lord Connor ('Bear')
At left, Wiley is seen still in armor after
some final pickup fights. On the right, Drake (formerly the Baron of Bonwicke) is pleased
after a day of excellent fighting.
Here are a couple of shots of the populace
enjoying the grand feast that night.
