At
left, Their Majesties King Timotheous and Queen Allyson are heralded in for
Their final court. On the right, fearing Their Majesty's possible post-reign
blues, the Elfsea delegation reassures them with news of several baronial
offices currently open for bids. ;-)
On
the left, Their Majesties continue Their popular practice of welcoming newcomers
attending their 1st event. At right, no longer Incipient, The College of Three
Bridges (UTA) is elevated.
To
the left, pulled by these strapping horses, er, young men, and fanned by a pair
of stunning young women, Jovian rides into court. At right, Jovian
is elevated to the Order of the Laurel.
At
left, Don Robert MacFarland, Captain of the Queen's guard, receives a Queen's
Glove from Her Majesty Allyson. At right, Sir Godwin of Edington, Captain of the
King's guard, receives the King's Gauntlet from His Majesty Timotheous.
On
the left, Mistress Lorraine Deerslayer also receives the Queen's Glove and a hug
for the support and mileage she has given her queen. At right, Lady Kerbartu
Kezia and Lord Niklas Vasilievich respectively receive a Queen's Glove and
King's Gauntlet for their service. This was immediately followed with matching
Stars of Merit for service above and beyond that which was rendered during this
reign. Vivat, Honorable Lady Kerbartu and Honorable Lord Niklas!
At
left, Lord Edward Mercer, the Queen's Champion, is commended for his support to
Her Majesty in only missing two events Her entire reign. At right, Sir Duncan receives
an actual 14th century spur from His Majesty for his exceptional service as
King's Champion.
On the left, Master Richard Fairbourne receives a Queen's Glove and sincere
thanks for his hard work as Kingdom seneschal during the reign. At right, Their
Majesties hold the Great Sword of State as Their final court nears it's close.
At left, Sir Kief receives an Augmentation of Arms. Later he was heard to say he
really needed an augmentation of leg, but was pleased none the less. At right,
Sir Emrys and the rest of the Lions of Ansteorra receive the Great Sword of
State, to be guarded during the in regnum, between reigns.
With a heavy heart, final goodbyes are said and time moves on.... and look at 'em
move.
