Photos on this page provided by Lord Timothy of Glastonbury.
At left, this fine sword was presented as a 10th year gift to their
Excellencies by Raven's Thunder. Lord Jean Michel de Meaux made the sword and
Honorable Lord Yoshimoto no Kuriyama made the marvelous box it was presented in.
(Thunder thought the Baron & Baroness might like a letter opener.) On the right, the finals for the Defender list were fought
as a melee. Mistress Stella, squire to Earl Barn Silveraxe, is part of the
shield wall (the blue shield with white wavy lines & stars, heralds, please
forgive me.) Sir Badon (in black & white), was one of the four
semi-finalists and finished the challenge phase with the most points earned.
(Each of the four selected comrades for the melees seen here, where the
surviving commander would be named the new Defender of the Fort.)
At left, while Sir Timotheous (in red) ran the Defender list, he couldn't stand
not fighting and joined in during the melee phase, as did His Majesty Daffydd,
who fought in the challenge phase as well. On the right, at the back of this
group we can see Patrick (in blue and yellow) man-at-arms to Sir Alric Drake who
had earlier won the Newcomer's list affording the honor of personal defender of
HE Chrstal, Baroness of Ravensfort. Vivat! Marshalling near the rope is Lord Crandall
Enoch.
At left, two shield walls square off as a legged Sir Pendaran can be seen to
their left. On the right, the glare of Lord Dragonetti's head blinds all as he
seeks a breeze.
At left, Lady Arabella has found some shade before going on to serve as list
mistress for the main chivalric event. HL Suvdchin is seated behind her as well as
in the photo at right.
At left, with exquisite fashion sense (those feathers provided welcomed shade
I'm sure) Don Modius ran the rapier list to determine the new Cavalier of the
Fort. At right, Her Majesty Octavia can be seen seated in front of Mistress
Anastacia during a gathering of the Don's who discussed the virtues of their
Order.
At left, HL Allesandre looking marvelous as always.
