On the left, Pennsic War XXVIII banner. On the right, His Grace Paul of
Bellatrix and Lord Armand Dragonetti. Getting personal combat instruction from
Paul of Bellatrix was one of the most memorable moments of the war for Armand.

Two views from the Mountain Pass battle fought on Thursday. Photos taken by
Master Richard Fairbourne.
Remaining photos provided by Lord Dragonetti.
At left, Their Stellar Majesties, Daffydd and Octavia hold Ansteorra's court.
Heralded by Sir Pendaran. Sir Wilhelm von Buch is holding the great sword behind
His Majesty. On the right, Lady Beatrice the Blunt receives a Thistle for
costuming from His Majesty Daffydd.
At left, Mistress Anastacia, Lady Beatrice the Blunt and Lady Teresa send
greetings to those defending the kingdom back home. On the right, Lady Britta,
Centurion Wolf and Lord Dermont are having a good time at Ansteorra's chilli
night.
On the left, a couple of Ansteorra's heroes, HE Sir Pendaran (in green) and His
Grace Duke Kein, are in line for chilli. On
the right, the chilli night was well attended as the line was a block long and
never seemed to diminish.
At left, the entrance to the House Bluerose (Nothshield) which had a most impressive
site and is distinguished as the only permanent site at Pennsic. At
right, a beautifully constructed waterfall and pond was a popular gathering spot
for tired feet.
At left, a sitting area within the Bluerose camp. At right, the Circle of
Sincerity where all words spoken must be sincere. Lord Dermont is in the
hammock. The Princess of Northshield is seated in red and Lord Jared is seated
to the left of her.
At left, a close up of the Former Princess of Northshield. (By the way, a camera crew
for ABC's Niteline hosted by Ted Kopell shot several minutes of film in this
site, as well as the Mountain Pass Battle. Niteline will be doing a piece on the
Millennium in the near future and will air some of what was shot at Pennsic.)
