At left, His Majesty Gunthar takes notice of a challenge match in His King's Champion Tournament. On the right, HE Drake (blue and black) and Centurion Timo (blue and white) are ready as His Majesty watches the rest of the challengers prepare for the tournament.



On the left, HE Drake is about to win one of his many challenges this day. At right, Moerick is about to defeat Mikhail. (Moerick went on to finish 3rd in the King's Champion and earned a Sable Falcon from the King for the exceptional skill he displayed on the field.)


At left, a shot of HE Drake about to defeat another of his many challengers. On the right, King Gunthar declares HE Drake the new King's Champion. Drake's final score surpassed the 2nd & 3rd place finishers, combined!


At left, HE Drake swears fealty to HRM Gunthar as many of the kingdom's best fighters look on with approval. On the right, a 30 foot plus bonfire is the backdrop for court at the end of the day's activities.



 Here we see Moerick who has just received his Sable Falcon. In addition to a 3rd place finish in the King's Champion Tournament, Moerick also led a group to victory in the last melee of war practice. Not bad for having never held a command before. The new King's Champion, HE Drake, gave his personal Sable Falcon to His Majesty Gunthar who then presented it to Moerick for the exceptional skill he displayed this day. Vivat, Moerick! Vivat, Ld. Drake! and Vivat, Rex!
